Looking Ahead is a newsletter that has been created to provide information and updates on the Eye Care Transformation Programme in West Yorkshire. This is a new platform where everyone can contribute and share information on the innovative and partnership working being implemented across the region to provide high quality of care and experience to our patients.

The aim will be to cover topics such as inequalities and to promote the delivery of equitable access to eye care, improve clinical outcomes and achieve system wide efficiencies which will help meet the demand and support the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic will need. This months bumper packed edition covers amongst other topics an EeRS update, further details on Dexamethasone intravitreal implants for diabetic macular oedema, National Eye Health Week which runs from the 19th to 25th of September 2022 and The Yorkshire Eye Ball on the 29th October.
